Es gibt zum einen den gelben Diagnosestecker im Motorraum.

Vor Modelljahr 1993 wurde noch die 2x2 Buchse verbaut, sie befindet sich hinter 2 Schalter Blenden in der Mittelkonsole.

 

Ab Modelljahr 1993 wurde die 16-polige Buchse verbaut, sie befindet sich hinter der Blende neben dem Aschenbecher, um sie freizulegen, muss der Aschenbecher herausgenommen und die Blende nach links geschoben werden.

{VW Lupo (6E/X)} Es gibt 2 verschiedene Einbauorte, die zum einen abhängig vom Produktionszeitraum und zum anderen abhängig von der Motoriesierung sind.

Bis 08/2000 befindet sich der Einbauort hinter der Abdeckung unter der Lüfter-/Klimaregelung.

Ab 09/2000 bzw. bei allen Fahrzeuge mit den Motorkennbuchstaben ANY befindet sich der Diagnoseanschluss unter dem Ascheneinsatz in der Mittelkonsole.

{VW LT (2D)} Der Diagnoseanschluss befindet sich im Fußraum neben der Pedalerie, es wird ein spezieller Adapter benötigt.
Es sind unter Umständen nicht alle Steuergerät ansprechbar, da der LT ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt mit Mercedes-Benz ist.
